Why should I use the RACKMAX® products, especially on my food plots?1. The use of RACKMAX® on your food plots or on any native browse will increase the amount of sugar in the plant making it a more desirable food source. It will bring more deer and other wildlife to your deer hunting area. 2. RACKMAX® will help you to provide better browse for deer hunting by increasing the nutrition in native and non native browse such as the forbs, (weeds) as well as leaves, stems and fruits of all woody species. Deer always prefer to browse on natural foods other the grasses. An increase in native browse can be achieved by burning, roller chopping, disking and other means of breaking ground in your deer hunting area, fertilizing and using the RACKMAX® liquid. 3. RACKMAX® really helps in those areas where plants suitable for your region are used. Always use plants suitable for your particular region. If you have questions about what to plant, visit your county extension agent for expert advice. You can count on deer hunting food plots made up of cereal grain (wheat, oats, rye) and legumes (clover, alfalfa) with some forbs. These will attract deer giving good nutrition to your deer herd. There are a number of excellent seed mixtures on the market today. Simply take time to ask your county extension agent their recommendations of what will work well in the deer hunting area that you are planting. 4. RACKMAX® deer hunting food plots should be selected and planted in areas close to bedding areas. I prefer long and narrow ones pointing north to south. If you are doing the work on your property try to keep your deer hunting food plots close together; no more than ¼ to ½ mile apart. This will help you keep the deer close to your deer hunting area so you will have the opportunity to manage the deer on your deer hunting area.
